Our activities depend on excellent planning. Most customers are incredibly passionate about the ideas they come to discuss with us. We ensure that this passion is transferred to the visitor, backed up by a solid plan, construction and execution. We start by creating a list of the wishes and requirements. This is followed by a visit to the location. Using this information, we create the first 2D and 3D drawings. Then, together, we go looking for opportunities with regard to design, engineering and budget. This will get us to the core of the event.

Especially in the Netherlands, visitors of things such as festivals are used to a number of things. This means that the look of an event is very important. The creation of set pieces is often right on the borderline between look and budget. How do you ensure that you create something that looks good, meets the budget and can then be safely stored away? Some customers know exactly which look they want, others mainly think about the budget. We visualise the look through drawings and use checklists to calculate the price immediately.

Throughout the year, we constantly maintain contact with suppliers of things such as stages, light, sound, chairs, benches, lift trucks, fencing and much more. We hire a lot, and that has many benefits. Based on the wishes and requirements of the client, we will find the party that offers the best price-quality ratio. You can also take advantage of this. Have a better deal? Then we will of course go for that option instead.

At the location where the event takes place, a lot will happen in a very short amount of time. All parties that get together there – suppliers, builders, technicians and so on – will want to know what to do. As producer, we are the central point of contact for all suppliers and other parties. We answer questions and ensure that everyone can carry out their work properly. This usually concerns practical matters such as, say, first putting the floor down and then putting the tent up, but also more complex issues such as “should we spend more money on a more expensive fork lift truck? Because then we might be able to deliver faster and pay half a day's less rent for the location.” By dealing with such issues smartly we can save our clients a lot of money.

We are not the only ones who want to work safely: services such as the fire brigade, police and municipalities also have strict requirements in this respect. If something goes wrong in terms of safety or security, that means the end of the event. That is why we test everything we draw and build for safety. How many emergency exits are required? Is fire safety adequate? How many people can the structure hold?

We have regular contact with our customers during our collaboration. This way, we ensure that we work together towards the desired end product without encountering any surprises.
